Zanussi ZWF1621 w?

Machine failed to empty during last wash cycle , set the machine to drain program and the water emptied from drum, the washing was still dirty so tried wash program again and the machine filled but the drum does not rotate, left the machine on for a while and it occasionally makes a whirring noise but the drum does not rotate or run through any of the program, checked belt and this is fine, any ideas
