starting problems suzuki gsx600f?

my 1994 gsx600f had been stood for three years, i put on a new battery and the bike started, however after a couple of miles the bike wont start now. i have just cleaned the carbs out and there is a good spark but the bike will now not start. it just turns over but will not fire up, any suggestions as to the problem?

how does the fuel lines hook up from the gas tank to the carberator

have you tried the fuel tap in the prime position to erradicate the vaccum side of it being a problem?

does it fire when you pop some fuel down the bore holes.
How is the spark?

thanks bb, I have given it the full service and drained the tank of the old petrol and replaced with fresh but it still wont fire up.

did you replace spark plug, air and fuel filter and change oil? Did you change petrol or is it the old stuff.
Pop a bit of freshnfuel down your bore holes and try and start it does it fire
