what is wrong with my tv? ?

i have a 42 inch samsung plasma tv and i switched it on and there was no picture? on dtv or virgin! but on normal tv the picture is blue. i can see a little green light flashing at the back of the tv could this be telling me where the problem is, do u have any idea what it could be? There is still sound coming through just no picture
