beko wm5140 how does the softener tray work?

how does the softener get taken out of the tray on my washer beko wm5140 it says siphon but i cant see how it siphons?
i cleaned the holes in the roof of tray compartment but it still leaves softener in the tray.

as water pours in to the draw it syphons out of the hole on the underside of the soap draw.lift the blue bit out of the compartment and you will see the tube with a hole in.That's the syphon.if the water pressure in to the conditioner is weak this can also cause a no syphon fault
