Mend Zanussi TDS 383W Black Tumble Dryer

How can I cure black marks from tumble dryer?

My dryer is a Zanussi Dual Temperature TDS 383W. Clothes get caught, at the corners especially of sheets and shirts, and are left with black marks. I don't think it dismantles, but is there some way I can wash it out. so that if clothes get trapped they do not get marked?

I have exactly the same issue with a Siemens tumble dryer. Sometimes Vanish will remove marks but we have had to throw away some of my husband's shirts as it just won't come out. We've had the engineer out on numerous occasions - it gets fixed for a while and then starts again.

It does dismantle and could well be the front felt and plastic bearings worn out.In the worst case senario the drum will need replacing which makes it as cheap to buy a new one!
