how do i stop a damp coming throug the outside wall?

make sure that the dpc is not breached outside.ie ground higher then the dpc. if so lower ground level out side if this cant be done lower the level to abut 18 inch or more then fill to level with pea shingle (french drain)then dry wall outside and spray with siligneum (think thats the spelling) worse way you will need to inject wall with siligneum ps try and dry wall as best you can before spraying.

Is it damp coming through the wall, or is it moisture condensing inside the room?
Does the dampness occur when it's raining, or in the winter months when you have the heating on?
Is there any guttering or pipework in the problem area?
