Cannot tune samsung tv in after update?

Hi i have a 42 inch samsung lcd tv which is about 2 years old, a couple of days ago there was a update option on the screen which had never been on there before. saying there is an update for your tv do you wish to install. i pressed yes and have since had no tv at and when i go into menu it will not let me click onto the tuning in icon it just skips over it. has anyone had this problem or an answer how to fix my tv??? thanks
