how can i fix my apm 8702 to take liquid softener?

bearing went on drum,got that fixed now wont take softener,contacted engineer says,have you checked filter,checked draw,all been cleaned out still wont take it can anyone help as engineer wont come out

Have you taken draw out/apart and cleaned, my machine although not same has a full level which is a detachable piece of plastic in draw, this lifts out, has type of slotting in piece underneath, which sometimes becomes clogged with softner which goes hard and blocks. Might be worth a try :-)
