Mend Drayton RF1 Central Thermostat Wall

central heating/drayton RF!?

my ch is controlled via a Drayton RF1 thermostat and wall mounted boiler timer/control box. The thermostat is not showing the flame so I assume that is okay (I have checked the battereies).The heating will not switch off though the timer/control box is off.How do I switch the boiler off?
