How can I fix my Phillips CDR775?

I have a Phillips dual deck CD recorder CDR775. The problem occurs in the playback side. When I load a CD, be it pre-recorded or a finalized CDR-RW it does not play the disc. I would like to go through the progression. First of all the door opens and closes intermittently, or sometimes not at all. When the door doesn't open, I would have to turn the power off and back on again to open the door. After inserting the disc, it starts to read and scan the disc, that's all it does. Sometimes it will flash NOT FINALIZED. Finally when I remove the disc from the tray it will continue to go through its reading and scanning modes. I NEED HELP!!!
