Is the timer hard to replace in a Kenmore Gas Dryer?
The timer on my gas dryer went out again. Last time, it fixed itself. I know it's the timer because the service guy came out and that's what he ordered. It started working again before it came in. The dryer won't turn off again, it just ticks right through all the cycles on the dial. Is it hard to replace the timer? Do I need a service man?
If your certain its the timer they are not hard to replace. You just have to remove any endcaps that you have on the control panel to reveal the screws. Remove the screws in the front and tip the panel back. This will give you access to the timer.
