can the usb port be fixed on laptop ?

I dropped my laptop and it had a internet dongle connected into the usb port.
it bent the dongle slightly but now the usb port is broken all the pins are broke inside when i try put anything in it says there has been a power surge
can it be fixed without costing to much please help ?????????????????
