Mend Ravenheat 85 Boiler Combi Heating

combi boiler, ravenheat 85 condensing?

When i put the heating on, the boiler fires and goes off repeatedly every few seconds (rads get warm but not as hot as they did though) but if i turn on hot tap the boiler fires and stays fired until tap turned off, and then stays fired longer for heating, and rads get hotter. Any idea why.
