how do I release the door on a Zanussi FL1085 washing machine. ?
The opening lever on the door wont open the door, just floats about. Looked down thro' the top and can see the door delay mechanism. Was hoping to be able to pull or push something to release the door catch. Any ideas please?
take the lid off and look down the inside front cabinet at the door lock.using a screwdriver release the door pecker.the door splits in half to access the handle.use 2 screwdrivers and slowly work your way around the join to split it in half to get access to old door handle.make sure the pin with spring on is on the right side of the pecker when fitting the new one!
