Loosing connection with Internet Explorer & can'tget mail?

when go onto my computer I click into Internet Explore it takes me to my home page but when I click into my mail it takes me there but the message comes up...Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close and wants to you to choose between the following debug, send error, or do't send & when you click any of those it takes you back to your desk top where you need to reclick into Internet Explorer & start over...it only does it with the mail cause I can browse the web with no problems...and my husband can go into his account on the same pc with no problems...
