having looked through the rest of the thread you state other detectors + RKP do not work. This points to the aux fuse rated at either 750mA or 800mA. If you use a multimeter set to DC volts scale 100V fsd, connect the black lead to the -ve terminal and then put the red on either side of the fuse. On one side you will read 12VDC on the other if good 12VDC if failed 0VDC. One you have the faulty fuse you can replace (try maplin). The cores of the detector should be joined colour for colour and the +ve and -ve should not be shorted. Give this a try if you need more help post again on same thread.

Scantronic is now menvier/cooper. When the lid is taken off a detector a tamper condition is generated. this can be silenced by entering your code. yopu nrrd to remove the cores and take care. probably red +ve and black -Ve, but ensure you do not short or the fuse/polyswitch will trip. Change the PIR and connect the wires back up colour for colour. once you have finished replace the id of the detector and reset the system. you may need to set/unset.

But the fuses all look fine.
All I did was cut the cable carefully like you said.

Ah, you didn't do what I said.

Carefully, was an important word.

I'll tell what you have done though, (if you haven't worked it out yet), you've blown a fuse, at least one that is.

ps Just looking at the fuse/s does not tell you if they are blown or not

The keypad and other detectors do not work after I moved one, why is this?

PS, not telling you wether I moved the pir or keypad cos it takes too long to type, and whats that search box on the right for...........
