fisher & Paykel machine beeps in mid cycle?

My machine when put on regular or heavy duty wash cycle will stop after the second wash and will beep continously. when I use the arrow to advance the wash it will continue sometimes the lid will not lock. All other cycles work except the ones mentioned above. I have unpluged the machine hoping it would re set itself but this does not help. thanks I am willing to try anything. the machine is only 3 years old.

Probably out of balance. Make sure your machine is level anddistribute the load evenly.
