cd turns off when engine is started?

Hello. I have a Clarion CD Player fitted in my Suzuki Grand Vitara 2001 Dti D. The CD will play ok without the engine running but go off when the engine starts a error shows error 3 or error 6 on screen.
I have checked for connection fault but still got problem, Can you give me any advice on this fault.
And make my day.

Most likely the laser needs to be cleaned. Get a cleaning disk and follow instructions on how to use it.
