My keypad is dead after a lightbulb fused in bedroom?

i have checked the fuses and they all work but the keypads are dead. all the detectors lights are flashing. yet i cannot get the keypad buttons to work. this happened after a light bulb fused yet i cannot see how they are related or not.
It is an Accenta remote keypad i had it fitted in august 1997. The alarm is an Accenta 8 Mini

Akmal, I will give this a try for my fault. Thanks for posting. I had to power my control panel off and when powered back on, the keypad is dead, yet all the detectors work still. COuld not work out why, so hopefully this will fix my problem - although the bell was making strange sounds.

Hi i have fixed my problem. what it was that i disconnected the battery connection on the control panel and waited for 10 mins. then i reconnected and it is working fine now
