Go to Dyson.co.uk. i have just been there and sorted out the sucking probs of my machine. it has a step by step guide of sorting out the problems. my lack of suction stemmed from dirt being stuck under the bottom plate. take the plate off and have a look, you mat be surprised at what you find!!

have you tried to wash the filter. or maybe you have removed the filter or knocked it so that its not operating properly.
