blurry and shaky screen?

You seems to have a CRT monitor.

All CRT do tend to become blurry over time. You can mitigate the problem by turning down the brightness. Be sure to keep the contrast all the way up.

As for the shaking, is there a motor near the monitor?

If not, the last time I had a shaking image on a monitor, it was the flyback capacitor that was about to die. When it dies, it kills the rest of the monitor.

Changing that huge capacitor will probably cost the same, or more, as buying a new one.

You probably don't have the equipment needed for the task.

Even if you do, remember that it holds a tention of over 10000V over a few days... Even a dying one.
