Never ever run the boiler other than for a very brief test with the sealed combustion chamber open, most especially if it is complaining of a blocked flue, it could be chucking out carbon monoxide into the room.

if boiler works then its ventura in fan that needs cleaning you will have to remove fan and clean ventura
