my service light is flashing on my vauxhall combo van 53 reg?

my service light is flashing rapidly after a battery change and now will not start is there any reset i can do ?

i know how get it off if this helps right press the trip counter button in for milage while ignition is off keep it pressed in for about 10 seconds then put key in an start engine whilst keeping that button pressed in resets
