how can i fix my indicator stalk?

hi,
I have peoguet 206 and when i go to use my indicator i have to put ma side lights on at all times so the indicators work but without the side lights on the indicators dont work all what happens is the full beam lights come on at the front of the car.

Anyone had the same problem and no how to solve it ?
