hoover nexta 6 washing machine shows code 3 fault?

code 3 shows .wont pump out. i have checked all pipes to pump no blockages. i have taken pump off and tested and it works. i think the problem is from the electric conection that feeds pump to may be board. i did notice that the electric conection that fits the pump looked burnt, this maybe from water leaking out soap dispenser so i changed conector but still pump not work on machine any ideas thanks.
