How to fix battery operated wall clock?

Purchased cheap wall clock (battery) that said minor assembly. I threw box away and I think some parts were inside. I think I need a part for the back (I have the hands). Can you advise me on a simple clock setup?

It wasn't cheap if it doesn't work. Never throw away any packaging until you've tested the item. In future, buy a clock that's already assembled, simples.
