I have the same problem can any one help?
Mine is a 93 model with turbo. it runs alot better with the vacuum pipes disconected and it doesnt blow smoke until i reconnect them.
Will it be ok to just leave them disconnected?

How many miles has the van done? Is it a turbo or non-turbo?
