What does P1 error on hotpoint mac 130 mean?

I have a hotpoint mac 130 and I no longer have the user manual. I am just wondering what P1 means and the flashing red on the picture that is above where the power botton is.
Last night I was using it all fine and this morning it did that and now i can no longer choose any options on it.
could you please help me.

take the air cond to a door face the back out side and pull the black plug out from the bottom,make sure its the plug you pull out not the over flow rubber hose,the plug is at the very bottom ring me if have problem,and i an tell you over phone
