I have no picture but sound????

i have a 42" LCD Samsung LE40R. my wife was watching tv whilst i ws at work and the screen suddenly just went black. no picture and yet still have sound. have checked all scarts, unplugged everything but power cable and tv supply yet still nothing. have read stuff about DR settings and t-com boards but am stumped. can anyone help?
