Leaky sunroof?

I have just bought my 1st car, and I am a student. Money is tight, but had to have a car to go to college. My clio is really good little car, but boy does the sunroof leak. When I first bought it I opened the sunroof as it was a nice day, when it rained during the night I thought I had left the sunroof partially open. I closed it tight, thought no more of it until it rained again, and again there was a lot of water on both sides. Apparently I have heard this is quite common in this model 2004 as I know of someone else who has the same problem. Can anybody help. I can't afford to take it to renault dealers as they cost a fortune ... any tips/solutions please.

you can get a clear seal from any hardware shop, and the seal gun with it , and seal the sunroof ,,, but you cant open it ,or you can get a rool of draft excluder tape. its stickey on one side you just peel off the backing tape. and stick it to the inside of the sun roof window" frame, its about half inch wide, its used for doors in your home . if your sunroof window over laps the car roof with a little rim on the sunroof. put the tape under the rim , hardware store" ps i would would try the tape first..
