whats wrong with my combi boiler?

we have a vaillant eco plus combi boiler it flashed up the code for low pressure so we filled it up to the recommed bar but when we put the heating on the pressure dial went into the red. We bled the radiator and that helped but the pressure now seems to be going up its self when cold reading 2.4 bar help whats happening!

hi anne, you set the pressure to high, cold set is only 1 bar,,if the pressure goes into the red after this, sounds like a faulty expansion vessel

what does recharging mean? Boiler only 3years old dont expect problems yet thanx for your answer brian

either :- pipe to pressure vessel is blocked, pressure vessel has failed or it needs recharging
