I have a Symphonec TV/Video combo model WF0213C. ?

3CI have a Symphonic TV/Video combo model WF0213C. The player will receive the Video but it will not enter without moving the rubberband on the right side of the player. Then the tape ejects immediently. I can't see any damage parts. Please, help me. Maudie
