Smoke coming from under the bonnet where the water tank is?
I have a Astra Club TDI 04 plate and there's smoke coming from where the water tank is and I have topped up the water three times in two days and there is also a rubber smell coming from the bonnet, could the water tank be leaking or is there soemthing burning?
Sounds like your water tank is leaking and may need replaced, the smoke you see will probably be the water dripping onto the exhaust or some other hot surface causing it to steam up. Don't think it would cost much to replace the water tank, best to get it check anyway.
