Mend Whirlpool AWOE8748 Washing Machine Fault Code Door Lock

whirlpool AWOE8748 - fault code F13 flashes?

The machine has power but has a fault code flashing F13 and does not clear when the reset button is pressed.

Momentarily it flashes E5 when the reset button is pressed for 3 seconds or more.

Thanks for this john we now know its a door lock fault, but how do we clear it, i have washinhg in the machine! This will be the second fault of its kind in a year ahhhh!

The only way to clear the fault is to replace the door lock
if you power the machine down (UNPLUG IT) for about 2mins the door will unlock
