GTI 19 Weed Eater string trimmer leakes gas?

I have a GTI 19 that leakes gas where the gas line goes through the hole in the bottom of the gas tank.I got the weedeater after my father passed away and I'm not sure if it has the right size gas line in it,or is it missing some sort of seal that seals around the fuel line where it goes through the hole in the tank.
