hi, i have a Candy washing machine (Model Sprint Plus 1500), the drum wont turn or spin. i have checked the pump and pipes are clear, and the drum turns by hand, with no obstruction, the belt is in very good tight condition, any ideas ?? much obliged, Billy

Hi there,
Today my washing machine, simpson esprite 550, got unbalanced and jumped about before I could get to it. When I tried restarting it, the machine would not turn on. While waiting for a repairman I fiddled around and got it going, saving $120 weekend call! I opened up the lid and on the right side just under the timer is a moveable plastic lever which had come away from its normal position, I jiggled it till I heard it click and tried the machine, it worked!
