how to fix Drayton Digistat +RF Digital Hybrid Wireless Room Thermostat?

My scr red and green led's are off. I have replaced the batteries in the transmitter. I have unscrewed the plate on the scr and when I put it back and press the no 2 button, the red led goes on and the green switches on as well. both then go out after a couple on minutes. Any ideas?
