My Thomson DTI6300 has wiped my library and wont record anything?

My Thomson DTI6300 wiped library & will not record anything at all now. Its come pretty close to going through window!!!!

on the remote press menu then choose setup then help. now press the green button this will give options of factory default, software revert, or format hdd. try format hdd then factory default you will then have to reset the box from beginning.
this will solve a lot of problems
