I have a Dyson DC04 which is making a crunching/grinding sound when the brush bar is down. The noise stops if I lift the brush bar but obviously doesn't clean as good. I have looked to see if there is an obstruction but cannot find anything. Does anybody have any other ideas as to what could be the problem and how I can solve it?
have you had the clutch looked at i had this problem with my dc04 replaced the clutch and all was fine, might be worth having the clutch looked at, could be the same problem.
