Hopoint Aquarius 1200 won't work?

I've got a Hotpoint Aquarius washer/dryer which I've just bought 2nd hand.

I did one wash/dry run and all worked fine.

Went to do another a day or so later, pushed the button and something "clicked" inside (sounded like a fuse blowing?) and nothing happened.

Machine is now dead.
Checked the fuse in the plug but don't know what to look for next?
