problems with hotpoint wt741?

each time we shut the door of washing machine it trips electric .i did undo filter at front of washingmachine and found coins hair clip etc when power is turned on electric does not trip till door is closed it there a nother filter/pump which could be jammed when enigised when door is closed

on/off switch and start/cancel not working but display area shows : displayed on the the digital display
