When powered up the motor tries to go [whining sound ] but the blade will not rotate. The blade is free when switched off, when spun and turned on the blade continues to rotate but slowly. Any ideas?
There is a belt drive(perhaps more than a single belt)under a housing on the right hand side of the unit when facing it. That is the first thing to check.
