Why is there a burning smell coming from my caravan fridge?
When my caravan fridge is connected by the gas theres a chemical/burning smell coming from the outside vent. Does anyone know what it is and why its happening? This doesnt happen when its connected by the mains or battery.
you need to get this checked by a gas safe engineer.apart from potential toxic fumes killing you there is the possibility it could catch fire.12v and mains connections are nothing to do with gas burner hence no smell when on these settings.Might just need a good service and clean out of the gas burner jet etc.
