Does anyone know how to remove a leg damper pin on the base of the washing drum ? It looks like a giant raw plug ( split length ways ) with a hex head .
I've tried to twist it out , hammer it out , pull it out but it won't budge . I need to get into the casing of the washing drum to remove a bra wire . To do so it seems i have to remove the damper pins attaching the damper legs to the underside of the washing drum .
on the back end of the plug is a piece of plastic that sticks up.push it down.I then use a set of long nose pliers and lever the pin out by putting the pliers at the back of the hex nut.with the tab pushed down lever plug mounting out.refit with grease or washing up liquid
