how can i fix my maytag front load washer model mhwe300vw11?

water is not coming in to empty my fabric softener dispenser. I pulled the compartment out and cleaned it. still did not work so i ran a cycle with compartment out and no water ever came out the holes above fabric softener and bleach compartments. how do i fix the problem?
