The horn on my T4 vw needs replacing as it has become very difficult to hear. Is this something I can do myself or do I need a vw service engineer to do it. Also if I do it myself will it need to be hooked into the computer?
I would doubt very much if it need to go on a computer. Somtimes dirt etc can reduce the sound...lie under with someone pressing horn to locate it and give it a thump,check it is screwed tightly to the vehicle (if not this will create a bad earthing point and may reduce sound) failing that , replace with any 12v horn. A vw service engineer will do it if you have limitless cash.
