gas cooker flavel model number is DCGML6 MY oven lights but wont stay lit when i release the switch it goes out can u help

You probably need a new part fitted called a 'thermocouple' it is a component that fails eventualy on lots of gas appliances,in the short term try holding the button in for longer until it warms up.
