Mend Delonghi Handle Open Stuck

Latch/handle Delonghi Dishwasher?

My handle seems to be disengaged and I can't open the dishwasher. Unfortunately, my dishes are stuck inside. How do I open it? I tried Jimmying the latch but now love at all.

Yep, same issue. Forced the door open by putting my fingers in each side of the door and levering it open, with a click.

Found the tiny bit of plastic connecting the handle to latch had snapped - certainly not made to last!

I used super glue to rejoin the latch plate to the handle plate and that is working perfectly!

Just not sure how long the glue will last, so looking for a new latch/handle component now.
