Mend Samsung Digital Display Freezer

Digital display on my Samsung fridge freezer isn't working?

I recently bought a Samsung Model SR-S2028CSS on ebay, brought it back home, rested it for 24 hours and then turned it on. The lights inside it work and there is only one tiny green part of a number flashing on the digital display panel. I've tried pressing the fridge and freezer temp buttons together for 3 seconds but to no avail. Please help!
