i want to replace my oil filter on my car when i unscrew
the top of the filter housing i can not get it out because there is a electrical part in the way i can take it off but have not done so yet because i want to know what it is, the haynes manual makes no mention of this part, any ideas.
you sure it not the fuel filter your unscrewing as it may have a sensor for sensing water in the filter. an oil filter usually just unscrews with no difficultly. read your manual again.
